PERFORMATIVE ILLUSIONISM
The artist Macarena Recuerda opens her research “Performative Illusionism” to a child/youth audience that is interested in thinking while playing.
Through the perceptive laws we will construct, like an illusion, fictitious bodies. Beings with measurements that are too large or strangely small. Bodies that multiply limbs, eliminate them or invent them.
We will work with textile materials that will help us invent new ways of understanding what a body is.
